Hi

Going round a roundabout a car drove straight into the side of me. Pushed the bike about 2 miles to a bike shop for a quote, then found that without anything to lean on I could barely walk and my right foot was pointing the wrong way as all the tendons tightened up.

Charlotte wrapped her car round a lamp post and landed up on crutches for 7 years:-

Do I have to say it again Rolling Eyes

I was coming up to a roundabout and somehow managed to flip my NSR. I had a sprained wrist and a sore arse. There was only very minor fairing damage, a broken indicator and a smashed screen.

( I was not trying to do a stoppie, I swear, why won't anyone beliveve me?)

Coming back fro college complete and utter f*cking retard turned right in front of me hit right hand wing, somersaulted attached to bike over the car, split from bike, landed on kerg knee first then split 4 struts of a wooden bench in half with my collar bone, knocked out cold, severely broken collar bone, to the extent that one bone now permantently sits on top of the other it cracked in half and one slid up the other, paralysed my leg extenisve physio. Am fine now though!!

Trying to repair the old NSR, streetfighter stylee!

Crashing makes you a better rider in the long run IMHO as you become a more safer rider.

The worst is when a bloody BMW turned right on me without indicating as I was flitering. i was going to fly over the car as i hit the back of it but the bike crushed my foot as it flipped into the car which stopped me going over it. i saw the doctor and he told me that it was lasserated and I have excrutiating pains if I stand to long or if I run for longer than 5 minutes.

I managed to crack a rib and bruise the rest on my NSR (and KO myself on the yoke in the process). On the RVF I snapped some tendons and got a few bits of road rash but nothing serious. As for the Storm I've owned it for 2 years now and have not yet stacked or dropped it, so I'm getting rather nervous - I know what's coming Confused

Oh, and once upon a time I was buzzing around on my goped and it spat me off at 30mph - I made a half hearted attempt at running alongside but failed and broke an ankle. I got back on it with my other foot and rode it home, then called an ambulance when I realised what I'd done Razz

Maybe for the people who need to have a crash to realise what can happen to them, but I find I can work that out perfectly well in my own head and don't need a crash to explain it to me Smile
