Hi,
I am interested in getting an off road bike but one that I could use on road and not have to trailer round and also one that doesn't need an engine re-build every 3 feet. Does anyone know of a good all-rounder I suppose, that could handle a few green lanes but also get me to and from sainsbury's Very Happy

Cheers Dave

As above - you're very limited with the 125. Were it me, I'd spend the money on passing my test (presuming you haven't, which would actually open up a range of bikes much more suited for on-road and probably easier to ride off-road in a lot of situations - and could probably do your test and buy a bike for less than you would get from selling a XT125X if you've still got it.

Thanks for all the info guys. I keep teasing myself by looking online at new bikes Very Happy

Not sure how old the XT is, but thought they were pretty expensive new.

The WR is a competition enduro bike - for road use I'd go for something not so highly strung.
