Ally of course being the one that springs to most people minds but mine always gets covered in
Moss so I am ideally looking for something that's resistant to such a growth.
Is such a metal on the market just now? I need it for shelves in my shed to hang up and store
A few bits and bobs. I won't go into any more detail right now however, as I personally hate
Boring posts about inane drivel. Oh well hope someone can help me out. For now I'll go hunt some
Cunt to smash in with my knobsy.

Do they need to be hung ? I've a couple of sets of plastic free standing shelves, probalbly 30"x 20" 5 shelves and each shelf holds up to 35kg. I think they were about £20.

When you say 'ally', do you mean alluminium or alloy? An alloy is simply a mix of 2 or more different metals in laymans terms.

I didn't even know moss could grow on metal so i can't help you there but won't simply painting them solve the problem?

You don't want any steel shelves (with the exception of stainless) as they will obviously rust, even if you paint them they will rust when they get scratched/chipped. You could use some hammerite on them i suppose.

As Mr.Everready said, you could use some plastic ones. Unless they need to be metal for the strength when holding something heavy.

Slightly off topic but why does it seem that a lot of people are typing their posts in a really strange format, dunno about everyone else but on my screen it looks like they are pressing enter mid sentance and carrying on on the next line. So they are only using half of the posting space provided. Confused

On most people's posts it is because they send them from their iPhone or android. However, there is a different reason why mine is badly formatted.

Karma for that simply because you quoted it properly. I always see it quoted as "known TO man". Laughing I'm very picky.
