there will be differnt stickers but i havent decided on which stickers i will put on.
and i am thinking of changing the wheels to white but not sure.

also i wont the red and whit the same shade of red and white as the yamaha r6.

The white is pearl and the red is normally flat IIRC i wouldnt paint your fork legs red thought doesnt seem to suit and i'm not keen on the red rims, but thats just me.

Nice work thus far, but isn't your TZR a naked bike from factory? Looks a lot better without the fairing imho, like this:

no m8 there are scratches on parts of 1 side of the bike due to a crash so i think he just binned the frunt fairing and bought some brackets.

do you know wot type of exhaust that was ?

done a little bit more with the tzr.
finished all the primering and now i just need to get it sprayed in the white and then hammerite it and i am ready to start putting it back together.

https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/8bbefec1.jpg
https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/cf16cdd6.jpg
https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/919c74c5.jpg

also started to remove the stickers from the rear pannal.

https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/4191b3c7.jpg

while at work on the tzr i found the fork seals could need doing.

https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/356135f4.jpg

then decided to whip the head off and have a look at the piston.

https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/1f2c95a0.jpg

all looks in fair condition.
i think i will place te piston just for the sake of it really save medoing it further down he line.

next up for the engine is a full engine gasket set.

Frame sprayed.

New forks

https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/tazzer%20pics/Picture056.jpg

Painted wheels

https://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/THEHOGBUCKET/tazzer%20pics/Picture018.jpg

up to now the build was going slowly but smoothly had a problem with the indicators not working but it was a rusty earth wire in the switch.
The brake caliper needs a bracket to fit on as the forks are from a Yamaha RD which makes the caliper clash with the disk.

But i hope to have that sour ted soon.

thanks mate the colours are not every ones cup of tea but it looks beter than it was so it's something lol.

As far as i know the engine from the TZR is the same as the engine in the DTR 125 but i am not sure about the standard DT model.

I am re jetting for the new exhaust and a high flow air filter not sure which yet most likely a K&N and i am going to make a custome box to fit the filter in with a feed to the side of the bike for maximum air intake and flow and it will decrease the amount of crap that gets in.
