Ever taken your lid off and been stuck as to what to do with it?

No, me neither, but this dude obviously thought enough bikers couldn't use their initiative to either put their lid on the tank, mirror, or ground....so he made a thingy......This reminds me of that dude who cam on here with his eye glasses cases stuck onto a fridge magnet lol

Seen it all. Smile
Like the pics of the probably smelly gloves in the helmet.

Somehow it makes me want to convert his lid like they do in rugby.

Thats a wonderful solution for a problem which never existed in the first place.

Just put the helmet on the floor on its bottom, isnt that the easiest thing to do Confused

Kinda cool but I've never been stuck for a place to put my lid before. Its clever but I don't think I'd buy one, let alone carry one round with me.

What if the floors wet? I wouldn't want to put my lid on the floor bottom down then. Problem is if its wet its probably raining and an upside down lid will fill with water. Laughing

It is probably just a cat food bowl. If the floor is wet, then it goes on my handlebar, if it won't go on there, mirror, if not on there just carry it. The list is endless of places to put it.

To be honest the type of person who'd buy one of those "lid rests" wouldn't go out in the rain anyways!

I just put mine over the mirror, almost like it's made for it!

They have one in Hein Gericke and use it when adjusting/cleaning customer's helmets; I thought it was a fairly good idea for a shop, but didn't strike me as something I'd want to carry around on the bike.
