few questions here for the cagiva mito
i need an exhaust seal for the expansion chamber to end can joint. i have this one off ebay
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAGIVA-MITO-125-EXHAUST-GASKET-ALL-MODELS_W0QQitemZ160280445477QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item2551758225
which i believe it for the head to exhaust joint, but i cant find anything for the end can joint. i dont really want to use exhaust putty if i can help it. anyone know where i can get something to fit, or at least something i can make fit?
next, my mate chris keep telling me to use the arrow exhaust and the 34mm carb, but how do i know if its jetted correctly? he says run it and see what happens, but id rather know before hand.
anyone know what jetting i need for that set up? everything will be standard including the air filter, apart from the carb and expansion chamber.
also, the arrow exhaust was looking a bit manky so we tried polishing/wire wheel to get the surface rust off. a bit of reading online tells me that from the factory the arrows have a long life clear paint that will require regular cleaning and repainting. anyone know of this paint because i cant find it and rusty exhausts are gay.
next i want to set up the timing. the workshop manual tells me i need some special tool for special people, which i dont have. it looks like you bolt it onto the end of the crank and it either points to something or whatever.
anyone know how to set the timing without the special magic tool
