Honda Mtx 125 bits and bobs

Hi guys, I have recently bought a 1987 Honda MTX 125 (black and yellow) i got it dirt cheap due to the previous owner thinking he had ruined the bike by putting 2 stroke in the coolant, wich i managed to easily resolve. Result for me. Anyways im looking to get this bike looking like no other, does anybody know of any websites where you can get custom parts for this model of bike. like maybe custom plastics or chrome kickstarts that sort of thing?? also is there a difference between a 125 and a 125R? also any general info would be appreciated

A 'bling' MTX125? I wouldn't have thought that there would have been much of a call for it, so the only custom parts that I've seen for a MTX125 are DEP / Micron chrome silencers. The MTX came in different colours (red, white, black / yellow) which I suppose that you can mix and match. There are replacement plastics on ebay usually from suppliers in Thailand.

The 125 and 125R are the same, but there were some different versions of the bike over time -
MTX125RWD - Drum Brake
MTX125RWF - Disc Brake
MTX125RWL - updated version of the above

legend thanks for your reply. haha i wouldnt go as far as to say bling... but i would like odd parts that you wont see often and ur right think theres not much call i cant find anything other than the DEP can already onthere, stainless tho need to get and buff it up. also the baffles have been taken out is that a MOT failure??

you can chang you handlebars for sum nice golden renthal, and get a big1 chrome exhaust, colored nuts bolts? just have a look on ebay, there is lots of stuf on there.
