SP2's do cost a little more but I think it's overpriced. I paid £3900 for mine in Aug 2006 with all the extras and 13,000miles.
Mileage isnt a problem, the engines are very strong, on an American forum there was a guy who had over 100,000 miles on his, original engine and the only problems in those 100,000 miles were charging reg, swingarm & exhaust cracked (all at 60,000+ miles)
As for the link you posted. Lots of the bolts show signs of poor maintenance. Lockwired throttle. Picture far left, 5 up from the bottom looks like the bottom of the frame is snapped? (Just checked my SP1 and it isn't like that, cant say for sure if its a SP2 thing but I cant see why)
If it was mint with less than 10,000 miles I would say go for it but as it is, I wouldnt touch it. ____________________ My bikes are at https://www.bikepics.com/members/dynamight/ |

Ah now i have seen the pictures, it is over priced.
Lockwired throttle=Raced?..
Huge scratches on the swinarm too. scratches on the exhausts...
TBH i wouldn't touch it.
EDIT: and no that crack isn't meant to be there! ____________________ Current: Ducati Multistrada 1200s |
