Been trying for about five minutes to change my avatar. Every other forum I've ever used in existence has had a simple bit of software that means you just need to upload a picture, it resizes it to acceptable avatar dimensions and sticks it on. No bother.

Not BCF though, as we all know BCF is special Razz

Is there any chance of getting it made a bit easier? I dont want to spend ages cutting and cropping a picture, messing around on paint, saving it and resaving it and counting pixels. Even using Imageshack to resize it to avatar dimensions for me doesn't work, as they've picked a fairly standard avatar size (100x75) which obviously is far too big for this tiny little forum!

Resizing an image to 80x100 is easy. Making sure the file is less than 10 Kb is also easy.

What's the problem?

Any pointers? Is it possible with MS Paint as I have no photo editing software on this computer whatsoever.

Managed to figure it out due to my immense technical genius and computerial skills. Be warned though, a lesser man might not have managed it.

An easy way to do it is upload a photo/picture to flickr and download the thumbnail size pic. 79x100. Thumbs Up
