As per the title, how long does it take to complete Mod2?

Have flown through Mod1 today with no minors, so want to get mod2 booked ASAP, problem is the York test centre only seems to do tests on a wednesday or thursday, and my current job needs 30 days notice for me to book a days holiday, so i'm thinking of doing it at lunchtime!

Also, does anyone know roughly where the test route is in york?

Cheers, Ol.

Well i got there about quarter of an hour early and was on my way home after about an hour and a quarter. Only about 40 mins riding though. As for the test centre question, i couldn't comment.

the test centre routes are on the website where you book your test. they are pdf files.
The test will take about an hour all together to check papers, ask the questions and then do the ride, slightly longer if you pass to allow time for more paperwork, slightly less if you fail as you slink out asap!
invent a doctors appointment!

Generally between 40 and 45 mins riding. Seems a lot less though.

5-10 mins to do paperwork before and after.

Yeah, it takes no time at all. About 30-45 minutes of on road riding and 10 minutes of paperwork. Thumbs Up.
