Who in their right mind would pay £160 to attach a suitcase on wheels to the back of their bike? Laughing

Oh! Pardon me: ... a suitcase on wheels WITH A YELLOW FLAG (makes it worth £159 more than it was before, doesn't it)

I don't know about the legalities of it but I think that's a push bike trailer? I don't know if it would be safe to tow in at 60/70 without the wheel bearings falling out etc.

Side cars in ... can use a sidecar on L plates with no passengers ... but surely i can take my dog in the sidecar .. surely !! Rolling Eyes Confused Very Happy

If I remember correctly, you're limited to 10mph under NSL with a trailer on a bike.

The tyres will need to be speed rated to match the bike and the trailer frame and wheel bearings up to the job. The auction item you show wont be either.

Google single wheel trailers, there's a bit out there.
The rat bike shown earlier in the thread with the barrel trailer, carries a well behaved rotweiler in there.

I'm in the middle of building both types - single wheel for rallies and the bigger one for fetching & carrying.

Take the ADVRider ones with a pinch of salt, the 'mercans dont have the same construction & use regs as us.

10mph under NSL would make it 50mph Smile

As for not on a 125, then the answer is get your test done Thumbs Up

Sidecars are a whole other kettle of fish. A different monster if you've only ridden 125s. Where did you find the info for using a sidecar if you only have a 125 licence. I though that was no longer legal.

I'm only aware of being able to ride a single seater trike on L plates.

Or....

See that beer-barrel trailer?

Guy that runs that, puts his dog, Molly, into it.
Molly's a rottie, if my memory serves me correctly.

My old gpz with the trailer on the back, tested that up to 120, on a private roadofcourse officer.

Mouses 180k mile old bandit 12 with the beer barrel dog transporting trailer next to it.

Dont buy one, make one, mine cost 30 quid all in.

Cheers
John
