ive had a letter through saying due to my time working there, ive accrued 58 shares (Their value at 661.41). Ive got less than 7 days to decide what to do (Did have 21, but living in germany it takes an age to get the post Sad )

Do i pay the tax and keep them (doesnt state what ammount the tax is)
Do i pay the tax and sell them (again, doesnt state ammount)

Keep them if you think they will go up in price sell if not.
You only pay tax when you sell them.CGT.

Er IIRC which I may not, if you were a beneficiary of a share incentive plan for 5 years+ you could sell them free of tax implications.

Depends on the way it was worked i.e. if they were free shares or if you had to buy them or what tbh.

IIRC again they are treated as a benefit in kind and thus I THINK you get charged as if you were paid £661 in salary as that was what the benefit in kind was worth...

Personally I'd keep them, water being a comodity which people can't generally do without.

If you sell them you won't incur any CGT as any gains will be well below the annual exempt limit.
