My bike will not start. Instead, I hear a loud clicking noise from the solenoid. Since, I have replaced the solenoid with one I bought second hand and for a little while gave a buzzing noise instead of the clicking. However, the clicking soon took over. Is there a problem with my bike that will keep breaking solenoids or was this second hand solenoid already broken. How do I get over this? Can someone help, please?

The problem is most likely the battery. It's either knackered or needs a charge.
