its a 2.5 V6 Very Happy its goes very well. starts and drives fine. generally good condition all round apart from a bit of rust around the rear wheel arch but thats normal for all fords of that age and older. not detrimental in any way though.

ive havent driven the car properly for maybe 6 months because i have now got a work car i use privately. i still start this up and run it every now and then.

ive owned it since about decemeber/january last year and in february i done the front bumper in Thumbs Down but drove around with it as it didnt affect anything. just cosmetic damage and a headlight broken. the headlight was replaced and ive been waiting for a decent bumper since. the good news is that i found one on ebay a week ago. the bad news is that is slightly lighter in shade than the old one. i was going to get it resprayed during the week so decided to see if there was any interest on it now.

apart from the bumper i have never had any troubles with the car. i got it serviced and mot'd as soon as i got it. air con was replaced and since then ive had loads of long journeys, short journeys, daily drives and as like now, only being started every month or 2. still runs fine.

a few months ago i replaced the upper and lower inlet gasket seals because i wanted to clean up the secondary valves as they were a bit dirty. basically when the engine reaches about 3300 revs the secondaries open up and you get the full power.

being a v6 theres shit loads of torque and as the secondaries open and load of power at the top end. so its good for driving round town without using loads of fuel and then picks up speed smoothly and easily.

plugs and leads were changed not too long ago as well which were quite expensive (ford leads) and the front pads and discs were changed when i got it.

its had all the tyres replaced while ive had it and is always run on pirelli p6000. about £100 each.

so my plans before selling are to get the bumper sorted and the rust over the wheel arch.

if anyone feels like making an offer as it is now though i would definately consider it.

after its sorted im hoping for about £1100 or near offer.

heres some pictures
