Anyone else on here take nasal snuff?

I got hooked after being offered some by a mate. Snuffed some out of curiosity and loved it. Also it cured my persistant rhinitis!

I am currently snuffing a range, have a load of Wilsons of Sharrow and Toque tins. Current fave is toque peppermint.

Friend of mine takes it, I have tried it. Can't say that I love the burning sensation, subsequent eye watering and sneezing, then the acrid taste of the liquor which then runs down your nasal passage and into one's throat.

He seems to like it tho. Probably because he's addicted to the nicotine.

It's a tabbacco product, therefore it is generally nasty IMO.

I've tried it before, it wasn't horrible.

I wasn't too keen on blowing huge chunks of brown stuff out of my nose.

Good at parties if the fags are running out. One blast of that stops you wanting a fag for a long time. Laughing

Hate the menthol stuff though, that's just unnecessary. Thumbs Down

My dad used to give me this when I was a kid and I had an old paracetemol tub full of it. Haven't touched it since though.

Some love it, some hate it.

I was given a pinch a while back. Enjoyed it so much I bought my own tin. I now own several tins of various flavours. There is even Cheese and Bacon flavour and Peanut butter flavour!

I happen to love strong menthol so tend to take the stuff that makes mortals sneeze and cough.

To be honest, I have tried cigarettes, but I found them to be far more unpleasant in the coughing and phlegm than nasal snuff. Nasal snuff does take getting used to and also doesnt have nearly the same negative health effects.

As for brown stuff out your nose, thats what paisley hankies are for!
