Ever since last year I have had an idea to go to Europe for 2 weeks instead of going a conventional holiday.

However I dont know many bikers (just a few and they wouldn't be interested in doing this sort of thing anyway).

My girlfriend is scared of motorcycles and wont go anywhere near one so that idea is out of the question although I would have loved it if she would go with me.

Just curious to see if anyone on here would be at all interested?

I have nothing fully planned yet, but was hoping to get the Ferry to Amsterdam, and head East to Krakow, then South (possibly as far as Croatia) and then back home. I have an idea of places to stop, etc and have 2 weeks (and a couple of extra days too) to do this. The destinations are quite important to me, so it wouldn't just be constant riding as such.

I plan on camping as much as possible and maybe spend a few nights in a cheap hotel or whatever.

Although, not set in stone, this is a rough route I would like to take:

I have not taken time off work yet, but anytime around June/July would be fine (possibly after the 11th of June if that was ok).

If anyone is at all interested, please contact me by PM or by email: gazz14091984@aol.com

Thank You

Think you'll need to add in some extra stops there. Amsterdam to Prague in 1 day is a very very long day and not a good one. I'd stop off somewhere in between for the night.

Prague to Krakow is also a long ride. But cool. I broke this up on my tour by staying in Kutna Hora to see the Church of bones.

If i hadn't already planned my holiday i'd tag along.

I'm going 11th June and returning on the 27th. Main destinations are Budapest and Split. I'll be riding Grossglockner and stopping off at the Assen GP

They aren't actually the only stops as such, I just put in those place names for a general direction.

I also planned on visiting that Chapel at Kutna Hora, just didn't mention it and a few other places too.

Kutna Hora is really nice. Very small but a beautiful town.

Accommodation can be difficult so give yourself plenty of time to find somewhere to stay.

I stayed in the town center just off the main road to the chapel (the chapel is about 1.5miles away). It was a large house run by an elderly Czech couple. They were lovely. I had a double room very cheap and the guy even moved his car so i could store my bike in his garage.

The bonus was that they had a huge cherry tree in the garden and i got to pick and eat as many as i liked.
