A little while ago i decided to grow a little beard, just a 'tache and chin one.
The missus hates it so that was reason enough really. Thumbs Up
Anyway, yesterday, going down the m5 in a van with the window open, i noticed it is now long enough to be blown about in the wind Laughing Thumbs Up
Who else has a beard, and in what other ways can they be amusing? Thumbs Up

I would rather cut off my nob than my beard.

I have a goatee its long enough to stick far out from under my lid unless I tuck it into my breath guard chin bit.

Gonna trim it a bit mind.

Still facial hair is win.

No clue as to why mine has ginger and blonde in it mind.

I have brown hair Laughing Thinking

I've got brown hair, well I would have if I let it grow and my beard has red, blonde, brown and grey in it... Confused

You need to alter your lifestyle to suit a beard. If I was eating an egg I would cut around the yolk and eat all the white, then I would lift the yolk on a knife and eat it all at once. Marmalade on toast is another problem, try eating it sticky side down and of course mangoes should only be eaten in the bath.
Like genital piercing facial hair is a life changing experience.

Never really managed to grow a beard as a little too sparse here and there and the fact that too many grey hairs are present these days not something that I want to draw attention to.

Went through the obligatory goatee at college but still looked pants.

I like the stubble look but very hit and miss. Looks ok in the morning but like Catweasel come bedtime.

LOL, I leave the stubble as it then looks like I've got a jaw line... Laughing

I suppose I could just get a trimmer and keep the short stuff but can't be arsed so shave it off for another day.

There is something 'sexual' or sensual about having a beard as I do tend to find myself stroking my chin and jawline a lot when rough and stubbly, or is it just me?

One must spend at least 5 minutes minimum stroking ones facial hair.

Its manly.

Worked with someone that decided not to shave or have his hair cut for 12 months. He is a community nurse matron so not the best of images as his 16 stone and from up North and drives a red 2CV. Laughing

My missus loves my goat-taay, and on the odd occasion I've shaved it off due to trimming errors, I've be told "I hope that's just temporary!" But, this is the same woman who told me to not bother with another 600 and buy a litre bike. Mr. Green

I love my beard. I like to keep it trimmed so it's a sort of semi-goatee, a la Simon Pegg.

Sounds like you've got a good un there. Hang on to that one.

one of my ex's comments on my love of bikes went something like this

"You love that bike more than me ! Why don't you go outside and FUCK it !"

This was said in a poor me, angry tone, so I should have been sympathetic, but I had to laugh.

I hate shaving so I have had full beards of limited length until I needed to shave to get another job when I got low on cash. I dont do jobs where beards would be tolerated. Maybe I should.

I used to to have a goatee but shaved the tash part off, kept the chin pubes and soul patch though Laughing

Brown hair, brown beard with ginger bits.

Another one for trimming errors Embarassed Laughing

Another is trimming whilst still highly intoxicated, only to be told at work "hey, that daft thing on your face is SQUINT" Laughing Embarassed

I usually "rock" a 1-2 day stubble at the sides/tash, and chin bit trimmed ...saying that, I need a shave/trim.

Cool thread Thumbs Up Laughing

I grew mine because my ex wife hated them. It also defines my chins. I've called mine Ralph and keep him trimmed to a No 8 on the sheares, just right to twiddle with but doesn't get into food too much.

I haven't shaved or trimmed my facial hair for eight years now.

You can plait them in the style of a viking.

If you ride your bike in an open face helmet, they come out forked. Also keeps your neck warm.

Scares small children.

If you order hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Make sure you get a spoon with it!
