Evening,

In need of a new PC & came across this one which i can pick up tomorrow if it's not too bad. I don't do gaming on the PC but i like everything to be nice & quick with opening folders & not slowing down when i'm running multiple programmes, i've got a 250gb HDD & will be running Windows 7 64.

CPU is slow. Outdated.

Same with mobo. It even has a parallel port lol.

Bit of a rip off IMO. Mine cost £200 for the pc part including 500gb hd, dvd rw, fans, gfx card etc and is much better than that. That was 1 year ago.

Thanks for that. Do you have a link to your one or where you got it please?

What sort of CPU specs should i be looking at? Bearing in mind i won't be gaming & my current PC has a parallel port & is fast for everything i need. So could i get the PC in the OP for cheaper if i built i myself?

I built mine myself. Got the case off egay. All the rest off Misco. I just looked around for offers on stuff to get them cheap but without going for the bottom end kinda thing.
