Hey, looking for a little help here guys.. Any input is valued

I found a used 1989 honda cbr600f hurricane for sale.
They didn't put a price, just asked for an offer on their ad.
86XXX Km on it
new upholstered seats

says might need new tires to pass safety however, which I figure would drop the price a fair amount

I just have no idea what a good offer might be, I don't want to insult him with a low offer, or screw myself over by offering too much.

Or is the bike worth it at all? I'm a fairly new rider, looking for something simple and cheap, can handle 600cc displacement,

Also, the bike sounded like it had a wurring sort of sound in the video he posted of it...can anyone tell me if it's normal? I have untrained ears for motorcycle engines. lol.

might as well add this:
- 86 xxx km on bike
- engine is a 1990 600F with 42 xxx total km on it
- valve clearance maintenance performed 5000km ago
- new battery
- tsubaki gold x-ring chain
- k&n air filter
- cobra f1 slip-on
- carburetors jetted
- APE manual cam chain tensioner
- seat recently reupholstered by a professional (black vinyl)
- would need tires to saftey
- comes with shop manual

Have a look around on ebay, and auto trader and mcn trade section, or pick up a Used Bike Guide magazine in your local newsagents.

With your 86km, is around 50 miles

Would offer about £800 - £900, depending how much i wanted it. Which is around $1200 to $1300.
