I am going to Italy soon with a lot of mates, and we want to be able use english electrical appliances.

What sort of adapter do I need?

Is the voltage etc significantly different or will it be ok?

Thankyou! Very Happy

A European mains adaptor suprisingly, voltage is nearly the same so anything should run really except maybe some silly wattage hairdryers like I imagine you might take. Although I do have a European adaptor that didn't fit some plugs over there due to there being a bit of plastic in the way on the wall socket, just get one from shop, tesco or something only a couple of quid. It's the USA and other places outside Europe that run at half our voltage meaning a lot of things won't work.
