Like the other thread what are some good comedy films?

My mind has gone blank so here's a few I can remember:

Home Alone 2 - For the pain and sheer stupidness
Mouse Hunt - Because everyone hates mice
Rush Hour is pretty funny as well

I'll add more when I remember

Step Brothers / Taledega Nights / Land of the Lost

Check out the director's commentary for step brothers. There is a song dedicated to the prosthetic balls, which is bizarre and absurd, but very entertaining!

I can't believe that no one has mentioned the National Lampoon's Vacation series. They are all classics and should be in the top section of any list that is compiled.
Another comedy film that is worthy of note (IMO) is Coast To Coast. It stars Lenny Henry and John Shea as a hapless pair of Northern Soul DJs whose adventures see them being pursued by both the police and a pair of ruthless East End gangsters. Copies of the film aren't easy to obtain but the effort is definitely worthwhile.

I don't like your classic 'comedy' films, and I have a particular dislike to many of the actors who do such films, like Jim Carey, Steve Martin, and others - so much so I will avoid anything they are in.

Blazing saddles and see no evil, hear no evil top my list.

I have a real soft spot for the carry on series of films though and I think that bawdy old humour is still as good today as it was then.

40 year Old Virgin & Shaun Of The Dead. But hated Hot Fuzz, awful film.

Also didn't like The Hangover or Superbad, they had funny moments but definitely way overrated.

There are loads of funny parts to that film:
1.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O6bWb7oEuE

Begbie throwing his glass over side starting a fight

Lads go on a train journey to the middle of nowhere

Spud shitting himself

Plenty more funny bits like.

There seems to be a lack of "kids" films in this thread that have a fair amount of adult humour. The ones of the top of my head are:
Shrek & Shrek2 (Shrek 3 was crap)
Cars
Both Toy Stories
Finding Nemo

And I seem to remember an animated film (I think it was "The Magic Sword; Quest for Camelot) where there was a two headed dragon that explained its existance as being "the reason cousins shouldn't marry".

Nacho Libre was utter tosh. I don't think I even cracked a smile watching that in the cinema. And Will Ferrell is just a poor mans Chevvy Chase
