im looking for 1 weeks holiday in Amsterdam, Germany or other intersting places
for a bit of culture/art well its the burds choice.

any recommendations, prices,
where is best to look?

Well there's the sex museum, the Bulldog cafe, and a few other museums (marked on the street map) - you could go on boat trip over to Volendam...its a rather quaint place to hang out and have breather

Then back to the 'Dam.

I wouldn't personally squeeze in Germany into the same week as 'Dam...way too little time.

Google is your friend...you will pretty much find everything there. OR you could do a search on this site for Amsterdam...its a topic covered previously...get some tips from there.

Paris is a great place to go, although it seems to get loads of negative reviews for some reason. You wouldn't be short of things to do in a week over there just have a look at Wikipedia or something for attractions (it's particularly atmospheric in the summer).
