Does anyone else get a little bit anxious and annoyed when waiting for parcels and packages to arrive?..

I'm waiting for some bits to turn up via UPS delivery. I phoned UPS asking if they had a time period (e.g. morning or afternoon etc) and they said "no, standard UPS service is 9am-7pm" .... WHAT? Thats a crock of excrement!..

I'm now sat on the sofa in my living room, staring out at the window looking for the bloke in the brown shorts throwing my parcel about. To be honest, if the box is dented in anyway, I'll be on the phone to UPS in a flash.. It will have an air filter and motorbike battery in it (not the best products to package together!).

I really need to learn to be patient, but the fact that I've worked at a place in the past where we used couriers who didn't give a crap about the boxes we handed to them always worries me when I have something delivered Rolling Eyes

I'm waiting for the windscreen repair people. At least they're meant to be here between half 8 and 12.

Waiting for parcels in an arse. Thumbs Up

I only have stuff delivered to my house if its Royal Mail, as they'll leave the package at the Post Office (just round the corner) if I'm not in.

Courier deliveries are a pain, so I always have them to delivered to me at work.

Royal mail is the best as the drop of points are local. I had some panniers delivered and because I had no idea when they were going to arrive i missed them. I got a note telling me that they were in the depot 20 miles away FFS the shop was only 30 miles away. I said that I would not collect them and to return them to the shop. I then contacted the shop and told them to send them by Royal mail which they did and I got them easily.
I am now waiting for Amazon to send me a replacement Trangia cooker as my burner has split after 5 uses and 2 months. At least they are using RM. If they ever get round to sending it.
