Hi,

I need a free piece of software that i can put a dvd into the drive and be able to convert it straight into a format that it will go on a usb stick and be readable when i plug it into a tv.

I dont want something that i have to convert the dvd ino a file on one piece of software and then have to use another piece of software. i need it all in the one software

can anyone recommend one please

Will rip straight from dvd into various formats.
No need to rip video.. then sound.. then merge... then encode to xvid etc.

This does all that. Just select what to rip. Optionally enter how big you want the file and click go and wait Smile

I think this was the one i used to use.

What would you need it for anyway? wouldn't it be easier to just play the dvd?
