what year?!

i'd say 125's probably, well

my 01 CLR125 had 21,000
my 06 CBR125 had 8000
my 08 GT125 had 3535

I wouldnt consider any of them high mileage at all, i know of some 125s plodding up to 50-60,000 obviously thats high, but they are still running where as all those 3 are not

A 2t 125 no maintenance could be high mileage at 10k.

A CG125 that's had regular oil changes and valves looked after could go round the clocks with no bother.

Gov Stats 2003

I would say somewhere around 10K + a year is into the high milage area. Even then, that is less than 200 miles a week.

Many of us do that a week, before even hitting the fun riding.

My old GS125 had 87,000 miles on the clock when the speedo packed up. But most 125s don't last much beyond 40K, except CGs, on account of them being so slow and underpowered Wink

My 1993 CG125 had 23k miles, my 1999 had 50k miles.

CGs will go forever long as you fill them up with oil...

High milage is a strange one.

For Market value about 4k a year is average on a 125. Anything above that is considered high milage.

Most Jap 125's can do 50K+ with regular maintenance. However few will. So you need to judge how much mechanical life is left in the bike. Your best bet is to buy a higher than average milage bike in very good condition with plenty of life left. Very Happy

The key to this is the service history and checking the bike properly.

It depends on the 125, a chinese one anything over 1mile and the value will drop like it have high mileage.

Something like an RS or a Mito anything above 30k would be considered high but that depends how they are looked after I'm willing to bet the average RS with 40k miles on it is in better nick than your average RS with 10-15.

Something like a CG, Japanese bullet proof jobbie, if I wanted one I don't think any mileage would put me off it.
