Anyone use Octane booster when using 95 fuel ?

Sounds like an easy way to get a few more HP ?? or is there a downside with longterm use on the engine ?

Hi

Higher octane fuel alone will not give you any more power at all (and might well lose you power). It is the changes to the engine / ignition / boost that the higher octane fuel allows that give you the extra power.

Unless you've got ignition/head mods to make the most of it, then it's not worth bothering with.

I was given some Octane Booster as a freebie when I bought my first bike ... but as already mentioned, there was no difference whether I used it or not, cos I didn't have the necessary mods to take advantage of it.

More than half a can of it is still sitting in my garage unused
