Anyone ever bought anything from them?

I'm after a cross trainer and am looking at the York Aspire.

I missed out on Argos' half price offer because I dithered about it.

This company is a clearance warehouse and have some even cheaper.

Save the money, buy a gym membership for about £22 a month.

I can guarantee the cross trainer will become nothing but a coat hanger, also, doing cross training 3/4 times a week your body will get used to it and not use that much energy any more, also, it'll get damn boring.

Gyms are better, you can mix up your training with a little bit of resistance too.

Less money, better results.

The trainer is £149 so @ £27.50/month (local gym cost) is paid for in 6 months

I do have a swimming membership and also do a little bit of running (just lapping the village green with my dog).

Whilst your mathematics work ou cheaper, I think a cheap gym membership will still be the better option because, as said, that equipment in your home will become something that for the first few weeks you will be dedicated 45 m s a day or whatever, then it will become every other day, then before you know it, it will have been 4 months since you last even glanced at it. Having to drag your arse ou of the house in itself is a motivator to do something worthwhile at the gym and you also have more diversity.

Some people seem to get along fine with home weights and cardio equipment, but I am not one of those people, I find that going to a gym stimulates one to push themselves further than they otherwise would at home.

Now will follow the arguements for and gainst home exercise which happens on any forum concerning weight lifting/fat loss etc, but his here is my two pennies and probably the last I'll say on the subject t avoid getting into the same old arguements.

This pos wad sponsered by beer and narcotics.

Good day sir

I know the pros and cons of home exercise equipment - I've got a treadmill which I don't use because I don't like it (hence doing circuits of the village green).

As said I do do some exercise out of the house.

My original question stands: has anyone used this company?

I had a cross trainer, and used it three times a week for a few years, but then when I moved into small lodgings I got rid (but for a good price). I would happily buy one again, as I know for a fact I use them.

If I go to the gym then its the rowing machine, treadmill and cross trainer I use (then the sauna and steam room too).

The Yorke ones are good. Tesco direct and Argos were doing them cheap. Can't remember the make of mine. My mate has one, I have my beady eye on it...I'm waiting for the word that she no longer uses it, and is ready to sell it to me for cheap!

I've found a company in Scunthorpe that sells ex display equipment.

I can put up with a few marks and scratches to save a couple of hundred ££ off retail.

Just waiting for a delivery price.

If your not so specific on model try e-bay. Second hand gear goes for almost no money. Wait for one to come up near you and you can have a year old not used cross trainer for <20quid!
