Hi,

My Bike Honda CG125 starts properly, although is difficult to keep it running for a while (I a mean not riding it), but the main problem is that when I start running the bike and go for a ride is seems it doesn't get enough power and I need to "put" the choke(not the get confused with on/off , I move the choke from the standard position all the way down).
After doing this immediately I can feel the bike gets the power and it runs fine.

I have tried to clean the tank and small filter, clean the carb, change the hose that connects the carb to the air filter, but I still have the same problem.

Any ideas? Carb setting is the last think I can think.

Thanks

The choke makes the mixture richer, so I'd say it was running too lean if the choke makes it better. If it was fine and has just started doing this I'd say you need to clean the carb out, don't mess with the settings yet if it was fine before.

read this

theres a section about the choke and whats its actually doing when you use it

if the choke is in the normal run position and runs worse then you may need to adjust the idle, could be the mixture as the choke gives it more fuel to aid starting.
