Have you ever lost money (i.e. crash/loss of NCB/bike repairs), when a camera recording would've proved it wasn't actually your fault and that the other driver is a liar?

Been thinking abit recently about getting one of those really cheap video cameras you can mount to your helmet or something (something that holds a memory card, as the tiny card is less likely to get munched in an accident), for the purposes of proving i wasn't the numpty when it inevitably becomes my turn to get reversed into (as i've seen a thread of recently) or pulled out on. Or whatever they do to catch you out these days.

Just wondered how many of you have ever had a time that's cost you a fair amount of money (i.e. crash/loss of NCB/bike repairs), when a camera would've made all the difference by proving the proof that it wasn't actually your fault and that the other driver is a liar.

I am quite interested in getting one,

My only concern is it would capture me riding like a twat...

Well it is your property, to delete or keep.

If you're thinking about coppers trying to seize it, then i'm working on that. I've seen an episode of "the Love Police" and it appears they successfully got a cop to GTFO their camera and not seize it (cops were trying to abuse section 43 of the terrorist act to seize).

Just enjoy the ride or buy a car. Rolling Eyes He got reversed into because he stopped to close and central to the van I imagine. If you can't see the mirrors, they can't see you.

You don't need a camera. You need a bike, gloves, lid, jeans and boots. That's all. Smile

Old Thread Alert!
