due to a woman on her phone, i came off my bike and broke the clutch leaver. I replaced it with no problem but it is too far away for me to operate comfortably as i prefer the take up a lot closer to the handlebar. I have moved the dial but it still isn't close enough. how can I get it closer?

Unfortunately, it's a hydraulic clutch so there's no cable to adjust and the clutch leaver I bought is the proper one for the bike and except for the dial, there doesn't seem to be any adjustment I can see. Is there some sort of adjustment at the gearbox end?
