Hi

They are restricted in the exhaust, plus UK models also have the ATAC valve left off (leaving the chamber open on the side of the exhaust port) and the airbox is fairly restrictive.

A full derestriction would be hideously expensive. However a decent exhaust and a few careful mods to the airbox make them go quite well.

Think there are a few other NS owners on here.

All the best

Keith

Put a Nikkon pipe on it (https://www.nikonexhausts.co.uk), the cost of a new pipe is about £150.00 + P&P I think.

Clean out the carb, and if you want a little bit more power, do a search on re-jetting the carb.

The air filter, clean out the box and the sponge.

Reed valaves can also be replaced, but I found that the stock Honda ones work just as well.

Other way to mod the bike is via the sprokets on the final drive and rear wheel, someone here is bound to know how many teeth are needed on both of these, and I'm sure that they will chip in with the info.

Hi

Think a few careful drillings on the airbox on these does help. Also the intake is possibly not brilliantly positioned.

All the best
