no idea where the other bands are like but never mind its 'its so god darn fast' as the seller says.......

That said (not that I can be arsed reading the listing), tuned ktm's etc do have an incredibly sharp powerband. Nothing nothing nothing, smack to the face and airborne.

Unless you've played on them you may not appreciate the kick to the teeth. But it's easy to see where people get confused by the whole power band thing.

My first MX bike was a 1982 RM125, reedvalve intake and no powervalve.
I had powerbands fitted to every gear Wink, and the power delivery was like Bonny suggests:

Nothing, nothing, nothing, fuuuuuuck, nothing.

Savage, fucking savage that thing was. Unless you had your nose over the front mudguard, when it came on song it would lift the front wheel without any provocation. In top gear, the front wouldn't lift, instead the back end would shake around and do its best to try an overtake the front.
Riding it yielded a complex mixture of cheshire-cat grin pleasure and absolute abject terror in equal mixtures.
Sadly, it consigned itself to the great bike graveyard, and i'm left with the warm afterglow of happy memories, scars and broken bones (which throb in damp weather).

A mate had a kx100 that would tuned by some kind of crazed lune.

100cc 2 stroke... would keep the front up to about 50 working through the gears. Just floating. Most gutless bike I'd ridden, but guaranteed wheelie in first 3 gears at X rpm.

I can never understand how people ride something like that on proper obstacles (drops, jumps etc).

He's had it stripped down, has 2 sets of carbs for it, done repairs to it etc.... but has no idea how to bleed the brakes? Oh my.
