A friend has just got a 05 plate XJR so I said I'd service it.

What a nightmare I have worked on several Fj's & early Xjr's but this model has air induction system its mounted right above the cam cover and is right pain to remove also the cover will not come off with it in place. Thumbs Down

Well checked all the valves and as usual most of them needed changing, anyway after balancing the carbs it runs sweet now as it was ruff runner and he is a happy chappy now.

I digress the moral of the story is if buying an XJR get an early one without the AI system. Thumbs Up
