Picked this up for ?60, needs a bit of work, and if anyone can point me in the direction of a stator winding and wiring for it, that would be grand!

As you can see..the fork is err... forked..
https://i45.tinypic.com/f0pvs5.jpg

Needs new "framey-bit" or just take it off and remove what isnt needed..
https://i50.tinypic.com/2dh5guw.jpg

Engine cover + stator last night.
https://i50.tinypic.com/15wmhcj.jpg

And what it looks like now..
https://i46.tinypic.com/25us7ky.jpg

Obviously its ongoing.. as im currently off work after a crash xmas day Embarassed
But yea any ideas on places to get stator from would be ace..it needs the actual casing too..

When I crashed my first FZR I found it almost impossible to find one of the front subframes that was straight. Breakers will assure you it is the right one, but it won't be, or it will be bent.

Bent ones can be straightened. I straightened my TZR's with a scaffold pole as it was way out of alignment.

generator cover - https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-FZR600-Genisis-3HE-Engine-Clutch-cover-casing_W0QQitemZ320471233987QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item4a9d92f5c3

I'm not too clued up on the different models of FZR, but i saw a sprocket cover from a 3HE and it looked the same as yours, hence me posting this one Smile

stator windings - https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-FZR-600-genasis-Stator-pick-up-coil_W0QQitemZ220544745470QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item33597dbffe

so thats that fixed for about 50 quid Smile

It will never be true and the bending back process can be extremely miss leading.

If you want a new one it wont be cheap from a dealer, Yamaha UK might have a source of them?

Depends how well it's been straightened. My scaffold pole is very accurate Wink

i dont mind about it being dead straight, i just want it fairly straight!

Also looked around for AGES and cant find the rotor for the generator!

It looks like the pre diversion 80-92 XJ600's share the same generator.
Likely to share the same rotor??

Sourced flywheel, generator, generator cover, rear wheel, forks, front fairing and got the throttle/clutch cables.

Right.. next thing on the list is a front brake master cylinder.

Now ive found this..
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-FZR600-GENESIS-3HE-FRONT-BRAKE-MASTER-CYLINDER_W0QQitemZ280455290005QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item414c701c95
I can probably find it cheaper but..

being a tart i was wondering if i could fit one of these..

Ah great... i may buy that one then!

No worries pal, i figured they would let you have reliable old bikes and then sting you in the arse for parts!

20/21 years old tho.. hopefully starts up when new part arrives!

Should be alright then, If stood for too long oil can gum up the valves and cause all kinds of havok.
Put a tea spoon of oil down each bore and turn by hand a few turns to clear things up while you have the fly wheel on show.

It had troubles starting sometimes anyway, occasionally dumped petrol out of somewhere onto your boots when you turned the key.
