Always take part in it, spend time at a pub dressed in pirate garb too!

I spent a day trying to talk like Esteban Vihao (the Mexican pimp in Kill Bill2) in my office ... most of the patients on the phone had no idea, they prolly just thought I was yet another (more efficient than usual) foreign NHS employee.

But I only got away with talking to the Senior Registrars like that face to face, and even then, they thought I was being a bit fucking weird Laughing

I was too much of a pussy to talk like that when the consultants came in Embarassed

One year I managed to convince a very senior colleague of mine to include pirate references in a presentation he was making to the Board that afternoon... It was awesome. How he delivered the thing with a straight face amazes me to this day. Laughing

I don't know if they took this off but if you go into language settings on facebook, you can change the language from English to Pirate.
