Also how rigourous is the test?

apparently very very hard.
apparently no one passes first time.

Hi

Test is pretty strict and you will fail on things that you wouldn't even think about. An example from a story on another forum, a dealer had a batch of brand new GSXR1000s from the USA to register and which had to go through SVA. He put double bubble after market screens on them first and they failed as the edge of the screens were too sharp.

Personally I don't think its worth the hassle to get a GS250 back on the road. As I mentioned in your other thread, consider buying a registered basket case and 'swapping' parts.
