hi iv been riding a motorbike for 3 yrs now only a 125 and want to take my test and was hoping to get stright on to a 400 is there any restriction's like do i need to pass my test then get years behind me or do my 3 years already count my cbt has run out and i havent been on the road for 6months how will this effect me taking my test and witch test do i need to take because iv seen a few on different websites showing different tests and im kinda confused haha will be grateful for any help given

Welcome to BCF.

You will have to re-take your CBT before you can take your test. This is a must.

Then, you must take your theory test.

As for what test, if you are 21 or older, you can take DAS, which allows to ride any bike you want, unrestricted.

If you are younger than 21, you must take your A2, which means you are restricted to <=33bhp for two years.

Which one you take is up to you.
