Hi,
I'm thinking of buying some hood jeans for the warmer weather. My winter textiles are getting a bit hot!
The armour is an extra £18 so I'm wondering whether it would be possible to use the armour from my textiles (Weise here) rather than shed out for something I already have!

Cheers,
Chris

The armour in my hood jeans uses heavy velcro which sticks to the kevlar at the knees. The hip armour has strips of velcro that connect to corresponding material on the jeans.

If your armour needs pouches your probably stuffed unless you modify the jeans.

The armour in my hood jeans came with rough velcrow strips attached to affix to the soft velcrow strips in the jeans.

EDIT: Beaten to it

Yes the Knox armor comes with velcro strips - but there's nothing to stop you gluing some velcro strips onto some existing armour - that's all they must do?

Never bothered with the hip armour myself - have enough natural padding - doh. Again I think that just has some velco glued onto it anyhow.
