zxr750 indicator problem

hi, i noticed yesterday that my right side indicators on my zxr750L are not working as they should. the left one work fine, but when the right ones are turned on, i just get a fast ticking noise from the relay, and nothing at the bulbs. if take the back bulb out, the front one comes on and stays on as it would normally if a bulb had blown. as soon as i make contact with the back bulb though, the front goes out and the relay starts buzzing again.
i know there is power getting to the back bulb as when i touch the neg wire to the bulb holder, there is a little spark as it touches.
anyone know if its likely to be wiring issue or the relay or maybe something else? i dont really want to be ripping my bike to bits if its something really simple!

i got this sorted!
i swapped the bulbs and it worked for a second and then went off again, so i guessed it must be something else. as i was taking the bulb out, the glass part came away from the base of the bulb! so i had to get a new bulb anyway, and they are not cheap!!! £6.50 for a tiny indicator bulb!
but, i noticed that the bulb holder positive terminal was loose and shorting out on the side of the holder. so after a bit of fiddling and moving wires around its now sorted.
just to make things that bit worse, as i was putting the bulb back in i dropped it and it went down a drain so i had to get another!!

more like 1 quid or less, what are they? 12v 10W bulbs?
