Surely if someone's quoted you for a job, they'd know whether or not they'd need to get the engine out?

Motor would only need to come out if the crank seals needed replacing (which is extremely unlikely). Output shaft, clutch pushrod and gearchange seals can all be carefully prised out and replaced without significant dismantling. Kickstart seal can require the clutch cover to come off, but not normally.
Not really sure why you're replacing the seals though, if you're getting shot of the bike. I doubt the leakage is major. Won't affect the running of the motor. I almost always have one or more seals leaking on mine  ____________________ The RXS100: vehicle of choice for Chuck Norris |
