New to the site Shocked so be gentle with me
Recently purchaised for my son a peugeot xps 50cc moped yes I know its a peugeot!!!
Had a few problems but managed to fix them however lights went dim last night and after 3 hrs trying everything I could see inc battery , earth wire relays etc traced fault to a voltage regulator.
Now heres the question if I disconnect it Bright lights but blows headlamp bulb instantly
Have searched ebay and various sites and they seem like rocking horse sh***t
Can anyone suggest an alternitve that could be made to fit at the moment the origional one looks at some stage to have been doctored as the indicator wires go to a separte block!!
Any help or advise would be great

I have just read an old topic on here that says the Derbi Senda parts are interchangable is this also true for the voltage regulator?? if so can pick a new one up for £10 !!!
Can some one confirm for me please like I say there are oonly4 wires on old unit I removed although has 6 terminals suspect indicators been swapped previously.

Any help would be great Laughing

Have you asked a Dealer?

The one's who take to do with these bikes are all down the pub it seems..

I would imagine any regulator that can handle the generator's output and the bike's load will do the job if you can get it to fit.

I'm not a bike mechanic BTW I'm a Painter and Decorator.... Smile
