Many months ago I nominated one of my teacher colleagues for a award for the standard of her teaching, she is frankly superb and inspiring ( she is also hot Very Happy ).
After much work from the Head and myself (you would not believe the depth of the analysis of her and her teaching we had to submit) she has been accepted for the regional final and today the award team came into school to see her teach, interview students, the Head, Our Head of Dept, Myself our technician and the teacher herself. One of the team was quite camp and I was in the penultimate interview before the teacher. During her interview he referred to me and described me as "adorable".
So now it is official, I am cute.

Good what you're doing for your fellow teacher though mate. So many people focus only on a person's faults, it's refreshing to see someone willing to help out an obviously dedicated colleague.

She has changed dozens of young lives and will change many hundreds more over the years, Yvette deserves this and as a school Governor I was more than happy to push her towards what is a major recognition of what makes her a unique and inspirational human being.
As for photos... I have loads but I am a bit old fashioned about posting chicks pics without permission.

A good teacher can change your whole outlook on life. My old history teacher was an absolute star and really inspiring, apart from being a funny bastard who was the spit of John Cleese (hence having "Basil" being screamed at him down the corridors).

When I was at school teachers were teachers. Except one. My History teacher was different. He cared, he gave a fuck compared to the other teachers. If there was a problem he asked, if you were fucking up he helped. He didn't do something for the sake of doing it he did it because he wanted too.

He was the only teacher I ever gave proper respect to because I felt remembered and Included, to the other teachers I was just another pupil.

I'm not disagreeing with you - courtesy of the history teacher I mentioned earlier, I went to uni with the single aim of being a teacher myself but couldn't be arsed with the crap that went with it given that I'm not strong enough a person to deal with it.

There might also be less problems in society if parents didn't pack their kids off to school thinking they'd be "taught" discipline (and morals?) when that should start at home. Might help if the teachers were allowed to wallop a few now and again though Mr. Green
