carb problem

iv just picked up my bike and a few bits where disconnected one was the carbs i put it all back together put petrol in it and then petrol has flouded one of the engine ports it was so bad it was pouring out onto the floor anyone have any ideas

Yep, take the float bowl off and inspect it ... it is either jammed, at the wrong height, the float valve seat is mucky/damaged.
