I asked a few of weeks ago about Autocom units. I did buy one second hand on Ebay but had to send it back and geet a refund because of some broken parts.
I'm now looking at Starcom units, the Advance or Digital. There's a £60 difference between them, has anyone used them or got any opinions ?

I have the advanced, and I`m quite happy with it. it does what I want it to do. I hardwired the zumo 550, which gives me the mp3, and hands free phone via the zumo bluetooth. The ipod is hardwired. PTT for the radios is also hardwired. As are the headsets.

As for choice of models, it depends on how many bells & whistles you want to connect to the setup. As the kits normally only come with the core items. If you want to add in GPS, mp3, bike to bike radios etc then you need to consider all the additional cabling that you require. Once you know what you want to plug into it, speak to the people at starcom and they will be able to supply your needs
