Just bought a 125-2a on a 06 plate, didn’t know at the time but apparently there made in china which as I know of is never good. Apparently the spec and parts are all Japanese can anyone shed any light on this please, what is a 06 plate worth with 6000 miles on the clock?

Can anyone tell me anything about the manufacturing side of it and are there anywhere where I can find reviews about this bike I found some but there just normal user reviews nothing decent, can’t find much via Google either, so can anyone tell me anything about this 125, good or bad?

They look like YBR clones to me Confused Not usually a good start.

Not really a good thing though, especially for a known company. I think it's slightly better looking than the YBR but still Tut Tut

i did research the bike before buying it, as there was nothing else available the bike was pretty much sold before i seen it, when i did look all i found were good reviews saying they were reliable etc, but this manufactured in chine I didn't find out till after, i knew it was however an import just not a chinese one.

Similar to the old GS125. Immensely tough, very reliable, nice to look at, sweet handling, and probably hold their value as well as the GS did.

dya reckon this made in china then is nothing to worry about at it is suzuki spec with there parts, its 3 years old and went straight through the first mot from what i can gather. I had a chinese back and after a year i weould of been surprised if it passed an mot., having said that probably one of the fastest 4 storokes ive ever owned got 70 out of it on a bypass with a 16 stone lad on the back.

Would it being an import have much effect on value depreciation?

My first choice was i was going to go for a ybr bought went against it as the ride is just way too smooth and completely boring no feeling doesnt feel like a motorcycle imo, I like a bit of vibration and sh@t.

i did my test on one, was alright. pretty sturdy for a 125, that had done 15,000 miles and dropped loads of times and was fine.
should be alright with it to be honest

EN125s seem to sell well. If a bike is good it'll hold its value.

the made in china is crap comments are not aimed at this bike there aimed at the poor quality copys china is churning out like jinlung/hondou/lifan/kouzang/cougar.

If its a genuine suzuki made then it may have been made in china but it will have been made to Japanese specs/ materials so thres nothing to worry about.

Indeed, the bikes manufactured in China by the big companies are okay. Some YBR versions (including UK ones) and their parts are also made out there and they're fine. 'Made in China' does not equal crap in this case.
