Anyone know where I can buy a manual cct for an xj600s diversion on a 51 reg,

The auto one on the bike wouldn't click to it's next tooth (spring loaded ratchet type adjustment) and let the bike rattle at idle,

The cct was in a sort of no mans land since the cam chain was loose enough to cause a rattle but not enough for the cct to lock its next tooth in, once the revs are up it was fine as the spring could take up the slack on the chain but because the ratchet couldn't lock in the chain would push the cct back to its previous position when the engine was off load or decelerating.

I have adjusted the tensioner to its next click and fitted a second cct gasket to prevent excess tension tension at idle and the bike is now very quite for a change but i would like to be able to set the tension manually for piece of mind.

alternatively would it be worth getting the cct body threaded all the way down and fit a high grade bolt and lock nut? as thats all the manual tensioners ive seen seem to be.

Undo the 2 bolts equally until it clicks then turn the bike over by hand to double check its still ok and the piston won't high five your valves.
APE make alot of MCCT VTR1000 owners love them.

I had a look at a few sites but the diversion wasn't listed under the manual cct even the ape ones.
