According to Parkers a 97' P reg is worth £645-895 and an R reg is worth £665-915 for a private sale poor - good
Knock off £100 for repairing the oil leak and go for a figure in the middle.
Nice bike a bit soft and tops out around 95mph, I found it a bit skittish in high cross-winds, but missed it terribly the day after I sold it, I still do...
Keep the oil filter moist and clean, and using Silkolene Pro-FST in the fuel helps.
Fit Bridgestone BT-045 asap if you buy it, they are the making of the bike ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen... |

This is my bike and now readvertised on evil bay - As for "you could give it a wipe" well I wouldn't have mentioned the leak then. The smoke was a sticky valve from the bike standing with the previous owner which is now repaired.
Hope this clears all the required information
.....and as for passing an MOT not being that much?
Why does every road vehicle have to be tested anually?
I would also like to say that your negative comments (G
The Voice of Reason) have already put a buyer off without even coming to see the bike.

haha,
why wouldnt you fix the oil leak?? its more than likely just a oil seal and a 10min job to do, you were willing to fix a sticky valve,
it may matter to you if we put buyers off, but we don't give a shit, especially about you, he will buy it or not, its irrelevant to us, fix the things wrong and people are more likly to buy, they are reasonable bikes so you shouldnt have to much trouble selling if the price is right,
good luck with the sale ____________________ the humans are dead
