I am a complete newb when it comes to modding ...

But on my Honda XR125 ... when i sit on the seat, it lowers quite alot ... Being a Crosser type bike, i would like to be sitting a bit higher, not looking like a fatty on it

any ways i can adjust suspension?
or will i have to buy a complete new system???

thanks

Does your bike have front and rear preload adjustment?

If so increase it, if not fit stiffer springs or lose weight Very Happy .

Hi

Check for preload adjustment. On the front this will probably be a smaller hex headed adjuster in the middle of the large hex headed fork cap. On the rear you might have 2 threaded collars which locate the spring. One locks against the other, so unlock on and then tighten the other, then tighten the first against it to stop it coming undone.

However I would doubt it is adjustable. It is probably possible to get stiffer springs, but be away that doing so with random heavier springs might well upset the handling.

All the best

Keith
