The best engine in the world is the vagina.

It can be started with one finger. It is self-lubricating. It takes any piston, and it changes its own oil every four weeks.

It is only a pity that the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Can be started with one kick, self lubricates and replaces its oil continuously. OK, it can't take any piston but the management system is better Wink

If you're going to use this engine I'd recommend either an engine re-map or putting a latex coating on the piston being used, otherwise a nasty buildup can be formed over around 9 months, which mechanics can't fix after 24 weeks if it goes unnoticed.

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper.

I'm assuming this said engine is better when it's new?

It's ideal after a 18 year run-in.

After reading the thread title I was ready to immediately propose that the CG engine is the greatest, but then after reading about the engine initially suggested in the first post, it became apparent that this engine would probably never mix with those who already have a CG engine. Embarassed

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

Yes but the breaking in procedure is not always the easiest, and after 40 years its definatley past its best. A big bore kit is also engine dependant. Wink
