Hi!
I've taken on a Cagiva Planet cheap with a couple of issues (that im busy fixing), however I've found another...

When the bike is ticking over, I have to increase the throttle by tiny fractions until the revs pick up, then I can't use the throttle normally, if I don't do this the engine bogs and dies...
Also when I come to a halt if I let the engine revs drop to quick it will die also.

Do you reckon a good clean of the carb and a new plug could solve this?
Cheers!

sounds like an air leak somewhere and/or power valve stuck open.

I can hear the powervalve move when I turn on the ignition, but I'll be having a good look inside soon, hopefully sort it then!
